Job Requirements

  • No minimum education required
  • Minimum 1 year of institutional or fast food preparations experience
  • 3-year ServSafe certificate within 90 days of employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years of institutional or fast food preparations experience preferred
  • 5-year ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
  • No other requirements noted

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 2 years of institutional or fast food preparation experience
  • Preferred 5-year ServSafe certification or equivalent food protection manager certification

Job Duties

  • Cook foods according to menus, special dietary or nutritional requirements, or numbers of portions to be served per management or following approved recipe
  • Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Follow established portion control and recipe guidelines
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain workflow and efficiency
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
