  • minimum one year of institutional or fast food preparation experience
  • 3-year ServSafe certificate within 90 days
  • preferred high school diploma or equivalent
  • preferred two years of institutional or fast food preparation experience
  • preferred 5-year ServSafe certification or equivalent food protection manager certification
  • other requirements not applicable

Job Duties

  • Cook foods according to menus, special dietary or nutritional requirements, or numbers of portions to be served per management or following approved recipe
  • monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety
  • clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • prepare meals in accordance with food safety standards
  • follow proper portion control guidelines
  • maintain sanitized and organized kitchen environment
  • adhere to food handling and safety protocols
