Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Possession of a current Food Handlers Card
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working near extreme temperatures
  • Ability to work indoors primarily with occasional outdoor work
  • Criminal clearance

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Possession of a current Food Handlers Card as specified by the Department of Health
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills with management and staff

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
  • Provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion
  • Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures
  • Familiarize yourself with the residents and their preferences and needs
  • Participate in resident orientations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Lift and move items up to 50 pounds as needed
