Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Possession of a current Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working near extreme temperatures
- Ability to work indoors primarily with occasional outdoor work
- Criminal clearance
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Possession of a current Food Handlers Card as specified by the Department of Health
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills with management and staff
Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
- Provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion
- Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures
- Familiarize yourself with the residents and their preferences and needs
- Participate in resident orientations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Lift and move items up to 50 pounds as needed
