Job Duties
- Inspect all kitchen surfaces to ensure sanitary and safe conditions
- prepare food as directed following recipes and guidelines
- season and cook food using personal judgment and experience
- present dishes appropriately maintaining high quality
- estimate food consumption based on trends
- manage inventory, place orders, and store food items properly
- organize food storage and kitchen equipment
- consult with supervisory staff on menu planning considering costs and event needs
- supervise kitchen staff work as directed by management
