Job Duties

  • Inspect all kitchen surfaces to ensure sanitary and safe conditions
  • prepare food as directed following recipes and guidelines
  • season and cook food using personal judgment and experience
  • present dishes appropriately maintaining high quality
  • estimate food consumption based on trends
  • manage inventory, place orders, and store food items properly
  • organize food storage and kitchen equipment
  • consult with supervisory staff on menu planning considering costs and event needs
  • supervise kitchen staff work as directed by management
