Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior restaurant experience recommended but not required
- Skilled with cookware and kitchen equipment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat environment
- Ability to follow recipes and safety guidelines
- Willingness to work daytime shifts
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
- Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
Job Duties
- Proper food handling and storage
- Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
- Accurately and efficiently cooking food
- Ability to read in English or Español and follow all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and health department guidelines
- Learn and work in all kitchen areas including cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing
- Support a healthy work environment by following guidance and leading by example
- Collaborate effectively with team members and managers
