  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
  • Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
  • Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility

Job Duties

  • Proper food handling and storage
  • Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
  • Accurately and efficiently cooking food
  • Ability to read in English or Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to The Turning Point and health department guidelines
  • Learning and working in all areas including the three cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing positions
  • Following instructions from managers who lead by example
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
