Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English or Espa ol
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to work day time shifts only
- Flexibility for shift scheduling
- Physical ability to lift or move heavy objects
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
- Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
Job Duties
- Proper food handling and storage
- Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
- Accurately and efficiently cooking food
- Ability to read in English or Espa ol and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety
- Learning and working in all kitchen areas including cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing positions
- Following health department guidelines
- Supporting the team and maintaining a safe kitchen environment
