Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work flexible daytime hours as the restaurant closes daily at 3 pm
  • Basic literacy in English or Spanish to follow recipes and guidelines
  • Physical capability to handle kitchen tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different kitchen stations
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
  • Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
  • Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility

Job Duties

  • Proper food handling and storage
  • Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
  • Accurately and efficiently cooking food
  • Ability to read in English or Espa1ol and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
  • Learn and work in all kitchen areas including cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing
  • Support managers by performing all assigned tasks
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
