Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible daytime hours as the restaurant closes daily at 3 pm
- Basic literacy in English or Spanish to follow recipes and guidelines
- Physical capability to handle kitchen tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different kitchen stations
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
- Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
Job Duties
- Proper food handling and storage
- Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
- Accurately and efficiently cooking food
- Ability to read in English or Espa1ol and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
- Learn and work in all kitchen areas including cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing
- Support managers by performing all assigned tasks
- Adhere to health and safety standards
