Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior restaurant experience recommended but not required
  • Skilled with cookware and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and safety guidelines
  • Willingness to work daytime shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
  • Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
  • Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility

Job Duties

  • Proper food handling and storage
  • Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
  • Accurately and efficiently cooking food
  • Ability to read in English or Español and follow all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and health department guidelines
  • Learn and work in all kitchen areas including cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing
  • Support a healthy work environment by following guidance and leading by example
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and managers
