  • Servesafe or food handler's certification or willingness to attain
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs

Job Duties

  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
  • Maintain freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality keeping track of old and new items storing items at the proper temperature and rotating stock
  • Ensure all food items are accurately and consistently prepared according to recipes up to restaurant quality standards and served in a timely manner
  • Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with chefs other cooks and front-of-house team to maintain a positive workplace
