Job Requirements
- Previous work experience in a restaurant as a chef or line cook
- high school diploma or GED
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- willingness to travel up to 100 percent of the time
- ability to pass background check and drug screening
- ability to comply with DOT drug and alcohol regulations
- ability to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace
- eligibility to work in the United States

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Prepare full-course meals for Amtrak passengers
- assist with all phases of meal preparations
- wash all items used in the preparation of meals in compliance with FDA sanitation regulations and standards
- complete all end-point duties
- assist with loading, unloading, verification, handling and storage of food and service products
- maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining car lower level
- plate meals and provide items for servers on the current menu
