Job Requirements

  • Experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • Must be physically capable of performing kitchen duties
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven cooking experience including line cook or prep cook roles
  • Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in task execution
  • Familiarity with industry best practices
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to perform high-quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and deliver timely orders
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • Follow and report to Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisines instructions
  • Clean up station and handle leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure food quality, timing, and simultaneous service
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with coworkers and customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
