Job Requirements
- Be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- Be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform job duties requiring repetitive motion
- Work in an environment with exposure to hot kitchen elements and cleaning materials
- Work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Certification as a Food Handler
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Passion for cooking and culinary arts
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
- Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
- Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
- Required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
- Properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
- Portrays a positive and professional attitude
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
- Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
- Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
- Is a certified Food Handler
- Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)
