Job Requirements

  • Be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
  • Be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform job duties requiring repetitive motion
  • Work in an environment with exposure to hot kitchen elements and cleaning materials
  • Work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Certification as a Food Handler
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Passion for cooking and culinary arts
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • Required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
  • Properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
  • Is a certified Food Handler
  • Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)
