Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials
- Physical stamina and dexterity
Job Qualifications
- Certified Food Handler
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Positive attitude and professionalism
Job Duties
- Handles all allergy and dietary restrictions and modifications
- Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and or direction from the expeditor
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
- Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
- Required to check cover counts, BEOs and or Fire Sheets
- Properly sets-up station and performs opening and closing procedures as directed by management
- Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
- Portrays a positive and professional attitude
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
- Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
- Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
- Is a certified Food Handler
- Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)
