Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials
  • Physical stamina and dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Food Handler
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Positive attitude and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and or direction from the expeditor
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • Required to check cover counts, BEOs and or Fire Sheets
  • Properly sets-up station and performs opening and closing procedures as directed by management
  • Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
  • Is a certified Food Handler
  • Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)
