Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have weekend availability
- ability to be on your feet for a full shift including use of stairs
- ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
Job Qualifications
- at least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferably in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant
- effective verbal communication skills
- working knowledge of basic kitchen cooking and prepping terminology
- basic kitchen knife skills
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food items according to company quality and service standards
- coordinate orders to ensure timely and accurate cooking
- maintain strong knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- ensure all food temperatures are appropriate
- follow all company safety and sanitation standards
- communicate effectively and read food tickets accurately
- stand for full shifts and handle physical demands of the job
