Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a similar cooking or broiling role preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • standing for extended periods
  • ability to handle hot equipment safely
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • commitment to follow safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous high-volume restaurant experience
  • knowledge of steak cooking temperatures and methods
  • ability to season and grill meats effectively
  • understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines
  • capability to follow kitchen prep sheets and instructions
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook steaks to specified temperatures
  • season, sear, and grill meats according to Texas Roadhouse standards
  • maintain proper safety and sanitation protocols
  • understand and operate kitchen equipment efficiently
  • follow prep sheets and recipes accurately
  • collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely meal delivery
  • exhibit teamwork and support during high-volume service
