Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years experience as line cook
- valid food handler's certification
- ability to follow recipes and food safety standards accurately
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen
- physical stamina to stand and perform kitchen duties for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as line cook
- food handler's certification
- contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
- advanced knife skills (preferred)
Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing checklists including daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- prepare a variety of meats poultry vegetables and other food items for cooking in a variety of kitchen equipment
- understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes cooking methods quality standards and company policies
- handle store and rotate all products properly
- maintain a clean and sanitary work and service area including tables shelves walls ovens and refrigeration equipment
- report to the Chef Team with clarity and consistency
- follow recipes and understand the flow of service
