Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in fine dining or high-volume culinary settings
  • Bakeshop or pastry experience required
  • Cold prep experience preferred
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining high sanitation and safety standards
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a fine dining or high-volume culinary environment
  • Bakeshop/pastry experience required for night-time production needs
  • Cold prep experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality under pressure
  • Active Food handler's certification or the ability to obtain it
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to be on feet for long periods
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to the hotel's established culinary standards and recipes
  • Ensure precision, consistency, and attention to detail in every dish
  • Assist with bakeshop production, including pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Support cold prep as needed to keep service flowing smoothly
  • Maintain an unwavering commitment to guest service, quality, and consistency
  • Follow all daily sanitation, cleanliness, and safety procedures aligned with hotel standards
