Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume culinary settings
- Bakeshop or pastry experience required
- Cold prep experience preferred
- Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining high sanitation and safety standards
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a fine dining or high-volume culinary environment
- Bakeshop/pastry experience required for night-time production needs
- Cold prep experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality under pressure
- Active Food handler's certification or the ability to obtain it
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to be on feet for long periods
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to the hotel's established culinary standards and recipes
- Ensure precision, consistency, and attention to detail in every dish
- Assist with bakeshop production, including pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Support cold prep as needed to keep service flowing smoothly
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to guest service, quality, and consistency
- Follow all daily sanitation, cleanliness, and safety procedures aligned with hotel standards
