Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift 25-50 pounds
  • Positive attitude and strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles
  • Wash, peel, cut, and shred vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use
  • Prepare meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • Prepare food products as determined by recipe, technique and procedure
