Job Requirements
- Cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years culinary or related work experience
- Ability to operate and maintain various kitchen equipment
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must stand for long periods
- Bending and lifting required

- Advanced culinary knowledge
- Proficient knife skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience in pizza, pasta, and wood fired grill cooking preferred
- Fine dining or upscale casual restaurant experience preferred
- Oyster bar shucking experience a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to consistent quality following recipe cards, complete mise en place and set-up station for lunch and/or dinner service
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs
- Prepare pizza and pasta and cook using wood fired grill
- Maintain fine dining and upscale casual restaurant standards
- Shuck oysters at oyster bar if required
- Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
- Date all food containers and rotate perishables, control food waste, loss and usage per policies
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
