Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a line cook
- Ability to speak English, Spanish preferred
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Experience with Puerto Rican and Latin cooking
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Must follow hygiene and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work full-time or part-time shifts

- Verifiable cooking experience in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred ServSafe certification
- Excellent people and customer service skills
- Experience in the service industry
- Punctual and reliable
- Prior experience with Latin cuisine, required Puerto Rican cooking
- Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Problem solver with ability to take responsibility without constant supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to get hands dirty
- Strong work ethic
- Passion for or comfort with Latin cuisine
Job Duties
- Work to guarantee the consistency of food quality, portion, and presentation
- Prepare food for service in a clean and efficient manner
- Cook menu items cooperatively with staff
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in food handling, production, and storage
- Replenish all appropriate inventory
- Ensure food is served simultaneously with high-quality standards
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
