Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in upscale and fast-paced restaurant settings
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
  • strong attention to cleanliness and food safety practices
  • passion for food, especially shellfish
  • ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in an upscale and fast-paced environment
  • high-volume line cook experience preferred
  • knowledge and passion for shellfish and seafood
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • previous experience in an open kitchen setting is a plus
  • positive and approachable attitude with guest interaction experience

Job Duties

  • shuck oysters efficiently and safely to maintain product quality
  • prepare and cook menu items according to company standards in a high-volume environment
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
  • interact positively with guests to enhance their dining experience
  • follow food safety and hygiene standards strictly
  • assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
  • collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
  • adapt to flexible schedules and pick up additional shifts as needed
