Job Requirements

  • Previous food service, line cook, or restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and positive demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to brand specifications and quality standards
  • Utilize TurboChef and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
  • Assist with prep work, stocking, and maintaining kitchen organization
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Welcome and connect with every guest
  • Provide friendly and attentive service
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter accurately into the POS system
  • Prepare barista-style coffee and specialty beverages
  • Answer questions about menu items, beverages, and hotel amenities
  • Present checks, process payments, and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest needs
  • Complete opening and closing side work as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area (front and back of house)
  • Offer assistance to team members to ensure smooth Bistro operations
  • Fill in where needed to support overall hotel food service operations
