Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a professional kitchen or similar food preparation role
  • Ability to work AM (9am/10am-6pm) or PM (6pm-4:30am) shifts
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to follow food safety standards and kitchen protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cooking or kitchen roles such as fry cook, griddle cook, garde manger, or expediter
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn about multiple ethnic cuisines including Asian, Latin, Hawaiian, and Italian
  • Self-starter with leadership qualities
  • Passion for culinary arts and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Set up stations with all necessary supplies
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Prepare menu items in cooperation with the greater kitchen
  • Work flexibly within all cooking stations including fry, griddle, garde manger, or expediter
  • Multitask efficiently during busy periods
  • Communicate operational needs and report equipment issues or kitchen improvements to management
  • Collaborate positively with team members to deliver high-quality dishes
