Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year experience as a line cook in a hotel or full-service restaurant
- ability to obtain food handling and sanitation certification within four weeks
- good communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- complete opening duties including setting up workstation with required tools and supplies
- inspect cleanliness and working condition of all tools and equipment
- check production schedule and pars
- establish priority items for the day
- inform the chef or kitchen manager of any supply needs
- transport supplies from storeroom and stock designated areas
- start prep work on menu items
- prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides
- communicate shortages before items run out
- inform food and beverage staff of 86'd items and available specials throughout meal periods
