Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work on feet for eight hours or more a day
- must be able to lift at least 40 pounds on a regular basis
- one to five years of professional cooking experience in a table service kitchen
- clear communication skills
- food safe certification or commitment to obtain it

Job Duties
- Execute all prep assignments quickly efficiently safely and according to company standards and specifications
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables shelves walls storage areas cooking and refrigeration equipment adhering to proper sanitation standards
- understand and consistently comply with standards regarding portion size cooking methods and kitchen rules at all times
- prepare dishes on the menu according to restaurant recipes
- communicate effectively with kitchen team members and kitchen managers
- ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld
- assist with inventory and supply management as needed
