Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • minimum four years of line cook experience preferred
  • willingness to satisfy every need of guests
  • knowledge about the menu and the varying products carried
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • capability to handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely

Job Qualifications

  • minimum four years of experience cooking in a restaurant
  • understanding of kitchen methods and procedures and proficiency in knife handling
  • ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to dish details
  • ability to read and follow kitchen instructions
  • organizational skills and self-initiative
  • knowledge of the menu and restaurant product offerings
  • commitment to excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests and team members

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients and cook as indicated in recipes
  • ensure that ingredients at the workstation are ready on time according to preparation schedules to guarantee smooth delivery
  • organize and clean the workstation following the restaurant protocol
  • maintain cleanliness of the workstation including kitchen equipment
  • comply with health, hygiene, and personal cleanliness standards
  • guarantee the quality and freshness of ingredients and products
  • perform additional cleaning tasks assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef
