Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- four or more years of line cook experience preferred

- knowledgeable about the menu and products offered
- ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook as indicated in recipes
- ensure ingredients at the workstation are ready on time meeting preparation schedules to guarantee smooth delivery
- organize and clean the workstation according to restaurant protocol
- maintain cleanliness of the workstation including kitchen equipment
- comply with sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards
- guarantee the quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- perform additional cleaning tasks assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef
- clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Sicilian Butcher recipes
- prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- safely utilize a variety of utensils, including knives
- operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Sicilian Butcher guidelines
- properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- adhere to Sicilian Butcher safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
- perform other duties as assigned by upper management
