Job Duties
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards per check from servers
- Start food items prepared ahead of time without over preparing estimated needs
- Date all food containers and rotate according to Crescent standards maintaining proper temperatures
- Check pars for shift use and assist in buffet stocking while noting out-of-stock or shortages
- Return unused food items to designated storage with proper cover and dates
- Help develop plans to correct food cost issues and control waste according to standards
- Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, and others
