Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • understanding of safe food handling and storage
  • ability to work efficiently in a team
  • excellent communication skills
  • prior kitchen experience preferred

  • Basic knife and food preparation skills
  • verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to inspire, motivate, and recognize team members
  • awareness of ingredients and potential allergens
  • understanding of safe food handling and storage
  • ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately
  • must obtain ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Prep fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and cutting meat
  • label and stock ingredients while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
  • prepare sauces and accompaniments before meal service
  • interact with guests and demonstrate passion for foodservice and hospitality
  • assist in training new culinary hires
  • communicate inventory needs and kitchen requirements to the Chef
  • maintain clean and sanitary work environment and follow safety food handling procedures
