Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • must obtain ServSafe certification
  • available to work flexible hours including early mornings weekends and holidays
  • basic knife and food preparation skills
  • understanding of safe food handling and storage
  • ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • able to complete tasks quickly and accurately
  • awareness of allergens and special dietary needs
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • prior culinary experience preferred

Job Duties

  • work directly with culinary team using state of the art equipment to prep fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and cutting meat
  • prep label and stock ingredients while maintaining organized and efficient workspace
  • prepare necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service
  • interact with guests showcasing passion for foodservice and dedication to hospitality
  • assist in training new culinary hires
  • communicate verbally and in writing
  • inspire motivate and recognize team
  • complete tasks quickly and accurately
  • pay attention to allergens and dietary concerns communicated by guests
  • communicate inventory and kitchen needs to chef
  • follow safe food handling procedures
  • rotate stock items and store produce at appropriate temperatures
  • maintain dish station setup and wash dishes as needed
  • perform daily and weekly cleaning assignments
  • empty trash daily
  • maintain clean and sanitary work environment
