  • Verbal and written communication is essential
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Food handlers permit as required by law
  • Brand certification as required
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Set up kitchen and workstations correctly each shift
  • Handle, store, and rotate fresh, dry, and frozen goods properly
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Prepare and store perishable goods to maintain quality
  • Complete control sheets for opening, in-progress, and closing as required
  • Ensure work area and storage areas are tidy and hygienic
