Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Follow the recipes, check the portion of the recipes, the garnishes and present the dishes ordered
  • Have the correct and adequate set up in the kitchen / work station at each shift including making orders, storing all fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments and supplies
  • Handle, store and rotate the stored products properly
  • Set up, regularly maintain, clean and ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines
  • Supply stocks, cut, and store perishable goods daily to maintain product quality
  • Complete control sheets for opening, in progress and closing if requested
  • Put all used utensils in place, clean and tidy work place and storage areas including refrigerators and freezers, empty, clean and store bins
  • Practice general and specific cleanliness using appropriate products to meet hygiene standards
  • Take instructions from the manager at start and review stock with the manager before leaving to ensure order
