Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of experience in a kitchen setting
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capable of handling kitchen equipment safely
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to exact chef’s specifications
  • chop vegetables, butcher meat, and prepare sauces
  • assist with menu item preparation
  • collaborate with kitchen staff during service
  • perform food preparation tasks during downtime
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • ensure food safety and quality standards are met
