- have high school diploma or GED
- have current ServeSafe certification
- possess negative TB test
- at least 1 year experience in food service preparing meals
- ability to take directions and effectively perform work
- ability to produce quality food in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
- prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food items
- properly label and date food items for storage
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to ensure smooth service
- assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas
- comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- use food preparation tools according to manufacturer instructions
- close the kitchen and follow closing checklists
- prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- use safe and hygienic food handling practices
- return dirty utensils to appropriate areas
- perform additional duties as assigned by Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- maintain tidy storage areas and proper food storage
