Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferably experience in hotel or related field
- Must have Food Handlers Certification compliant with state regulations
- Must communicate information and ideas clearly
- Must evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately
- Must work well under stressful, high pressure conditions
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Food Handlers Certification complying with state requirements
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately

- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and name tag
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Comply with certification requirements such as Food Handlers and Safety
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- Have thorough knowledge of menus and preparation required according to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
- Complete food and station preparations prior to opening of the Restaurant or Dining Outlet
- Prepare and display buffet foods according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintain post on kitchen line to prepare food to order efficiently and with quality
- Prepare food for Banquets following Banquet Event Orders
- Prepare and service food for Associate Cafeteria as specified
- Prepare all foods following standard recipes
- Follow direction for preparation of specials
- Breakdown buffets and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly
- Work banquet food station as scheduled
- Know location and operation of all fire extinguishing equipment
- Practice safe work habits to avoid injury
- Be familiar with all hotel policies and emergency procedures
- Use Production Charts as specified
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and associates
- Operate and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- Maintain "Clean As You Go" policy
- Assist in storage and rotation of food items
- Sign keys out and in under supervision as needed
- Attend meetings as required
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- Interact and occasionally have unsupervised contact with guests and colleagues
- Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility
- Represent the company with good character and exercise sound judgement
