Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- State Food Handler certificate required
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all dishes are made to order and meet presentation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure all ingredients and supplies are readily available and properly stored
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the correct temperature and meet the standards
- Work closely with other kitchen cast members to coordinate orders and ensure timely service
- Communicate effectively with the team to manage kitchen workflow
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory checks and notify the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels
- Ensure that food storage areas are organized and properly stocked
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager
