Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Valid food handler’s card and required permits
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced full-service restaurant environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn and grow skillset
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as maneuvering in the kitchen and operating basic kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred
  • Valid food handler’s card and permits
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and storage
  • Ability to work across multiple cooking stations including grill, broil, sauté, and fry
  • Passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn Japanese cuisine techniques
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes and standards
  • Refine knife skills and master traditional sushi roll preparation
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain proper food handling and storage techniques
  • Work across grill, broil, sauté, and fry stations efficiently
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols including valid food handler’s card compliance
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment
