Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience working in high-volume kitchen preferred
- Valid food handler’s card and required permits
- Ability to work in a fast-paced full-service restaurant environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow skillset
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as maneuvering in the kitchen and operating basic kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred
- Valid food handler’s card and permits
- Knowledge of proper food handling and storage
- Ability to work across multiple cooking stations including grill, broil, sauté, and fry
- Passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn Japanese cuisine techniques
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes and standards
- Refine knife skills and master traditional sushi roll preparation
- Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain proper food handling and storage techniques
- Work across grill, broil, sauté, and fry stations efficiently
- Adhere to health and safety protocols including valid food handler’s card compliance
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment
