Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push carts up to 200 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and safety protocols
- Availability for various shift schedules
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance
Job Qualifications
- Ability to push heavy carts
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff
- Ability to lift equipment and supplies on and off carts
- Capability to use property radio for communication
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
Job Duties
- Review assigned area and remove trash or debris on floors
- Check assigned floor closets and replenish linen supplies
- Stock linen room with clean linen and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets by removing trash, wiping down shelves and counters
- Strip dirty linen from assigned rooms and place in laundry chute
- Remove dirty glasses from room attendant carts and transport to dish steward
- Return clean glasses to floor closets
- Clean guest room floor corridors, floor closets, service corridors, elevators, tracks and landings, guest laundry room, vending areas, and stairwells using proper chemicals and equipment
- Wipe down surfaces of vending, ice, and laundry machines
- Ensure nothing is stored in stairwells
- Remove stains, scuff marks, and dust from carpets
- Provide timely delivery of items requested by guests
- Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys to department
- Follow all company policies and safety and security procedures
- Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment
- Report property deficiencies and unsafe conditions to management
- Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
