Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand with well-placed mobility for up to 4 hours in length
- Ability to carry 0-40 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift
- Requires grasping standing walking repetitive motions hearing ability and visual acuity throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures and knife handling skills
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy speed and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow cooking directions
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized and self-motivated
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
- Perform portion control and maintain portioning standards
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at the workstation and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery and ticket times
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- maintain organization and a sense of urgency
- Maintain a clean workstation area including kitchen equipment tables and shelves
- handle store and rotate all products to standards
- Comply with applicable sanitary health and personal hygiene standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor or manager
