Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age
able to work in noisy fast paced environment with distractions
able to stand and move about for long periods
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
able to reach bend stoop mop sweep and wipe frequently
follow company safety and sanitation policies
maintain personal cleanliness and dress code

Job Duties

keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective or alternative actions
adhere to company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
safely and correctly operate all kitchen equipment
use chemicals properly in correct quantities for safety and cost control
ensure proper storage of products at appropriate levels
prepare and sell food meeting quality indicators and guest expectations
sell food within recommended time frames
prepare and cook all food items by recipe and specification
control costs by following prep sheets to ensure the freshest product and eliminate waste
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas
maintain station cleanliness and sanitation
clean and maintain kitchen mats floors walls and drains
empty kitchen trash and maintain trash cans
assist other team members as needed
maintain favorable working relationships to foster cooperative and harmonious climate
be friendly and smile while working days nights and weekends
demonstrate clear communication with team members
dress neat clean and professional at all times
