Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in kitchen preparation and line cook
  • Positive energy and willingness to assist support staff and work as a team player
  • Able to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions
  • Effective communicator with managers, employees, and guests
  • Flexible schedule for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Two years experience in kitchen preparation and line cook
  • Positive energy and team player attitude
  • Ability to read and understand basic cooking instructions
  • Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
  • Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push, pull, or lift as needed

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepares, stocks, and maintains the highest quality cuisine for our guests, compiling consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Assists others in closing the kitchen
  • Promptly report all product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Chef
