Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand with well-placed mobility for up to 4 hours in length
  • ability to carry 0-40 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift
  • understanding of cooking methods and procedures and knife handling skills
  • ability to perform tasks with accuracy speed and attention to detail
  • ability to read and follow cooking directions
  • ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • must be organized and self-motivated
  • requires grasping standing walking repetitive motions hearing ability and visual acuity throughout the shift

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
  • perform portion control and maintain portioning standards
  • ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at the workstation and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery and ticket times
  • communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • maintain organization and a sense of urgency
  • maintain a clean workstation area including kitchen equipment tables and shelves
  • handle store and rotate all products to standards
  • comply with applicable sanitary health and personal hygiene standards
  • ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients and products
  • perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor or manager
