Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification or food handlers permit where required
  • team members working with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • regular and consistent attendance
  • energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • excellent guest service skills
  • good interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to understand and effectively converse in English
  • ability to work in team and independently
  • ability to follow directions
  • physically able to perform duties including bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in noisy environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • basic food handling training completed
  • strong desire to pursue a culinary career path
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • friendly and energetic attitude
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
  • follows and executes prep lists daily
  • maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • maintains policies and procedures to minimize food waste and theft
  • collaborates with server team to ensure that food orders are accurate
  • cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
  • responsible for opening or closing a workstation depending on scheduled shift
