Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification or food handlers permit where required
- team members working with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- excellent guest service skills
- good interpersonal communication skills
- ability to understand and effectively converse in English
- ability to work in team and independently
- ability to follow directions
- physically able to perform duties including bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- basic food handling training completed
- strong desire to pursue a culinary career path
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- friendly and energetic attitude
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Prepares all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
- follows and executes prep lists daily
- maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations
- maintains policies and procedures to minimize food waste and theft
- collaborates with server team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
- responsible for opening or closing a workstation depending on scheduled shift
