Job Duties

Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the owner (chopping vegetables, butchering/pounding meat, preparing sauces, etc.)
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
Food preparation and portioning prior to service
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
Clean up station and take care of leftover food (try to minimize food waste as good as possible)
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Servers voluntarily share some of their tips with the kitchen
