Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to follow recipes and meal plans accurately
physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
good communication skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly techniques
Experience working in casual dining settings or restaurant environments is advantageous
Demonstrated skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork

Job Duties

In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food service, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality

Assist in planning and executing daily menus, ensuring variety and nutritional balance

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Serve meals to residents or guests in a courteous, timely manner
Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
