Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- current food handler’s permit
- training in ServSafe beneficial
- state sanitation certificate
- 3-4 years of related and advanced food service and cooking experience desired
- experience with basic kitchen equipment operation
- intermediate to advanced knife skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to read and follow written instructions
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods
- ability to work in a temperate environment with exposure to heat or cold
- ability to work within organizational policies and with limited supervision
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of kitchen environment and food preparation
- ability to read and follow recipes and instructions
- effective communication skills in English
- intermediate to advanced knife skills

- ability to work flexible hours including some holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook to order foods according to instructions
- produce small to large batch goods using classical cooking techniques
- ensure food preparation and service comply with federal, state, and corporate standards
- operate kitchen equipment for ingredient measurement and food preparation
- maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
- plate food with attention to appearance and garnish
- participate in safety training and adhere to safety policies
