Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum six months to one year experience as a prep or line cook
  • knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to food preparation
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • physical ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Six months to one year minimum experience as a prep or line cook in a high-volume full-service restaurant
  • knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to the position
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow recipes and safety standards
  • flexibility to cross-train and work various kitchen stations
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • passion for hospitality

Job Duties

  • Ensures all materials and supplies are available
  • sets up station according to established guidelines and guest safety requirements
  • prepares food according to recipes and plating guidelines
  • coordinates food orders for timely delivery
  • executes prep and line stations independently
  • meets special guest requests while maintaining quality
  • maintains cleanliness and safety of the work station and kitchen
  • restocks and breaks down work stations
  • stocks and cleans stations as directed
  • cross-trains on line, prep, and dish stations
  • performs additional duties as assigned
  • maintains high-level product knowledge
  • adheres to company policies
