Job Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of experience in the kitchen
- ability to follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- ability to operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- physical ability to handle kitchen work
- flexibility to accommodate guest special requests
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years of kitchen experience
- ability to follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- experience baking, grilling, steaming and boiling meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
- skills in presenting, garnishing and arranging final dishes
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- experience operating kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
Job Duties
- assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
- plating prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance
- working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of the shifts
- ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- ensuring ingredients and final products are fresh
