Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some cooking classes
  • Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent
  • Safe Serve certification
  • Ability to cook and work in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to multitask and think quickly
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  • Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • Ability to work long and unusual hours
  • Previous club experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Cook food to members' satisfaction as perfectly and quickly as possible
  • Set up work station to ensure freshness and quality
  • Assist the rest of the line cooks in the restaurant so that all preparations are made on time
  • Break down work station at end of service
  • Ensure restaurant is clean before leaving
  • Communicate with members, coworkers, management, staff, and others in a professional manner
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
